Documentation Checklist for Delhi Solar Applications

BSES and Tata Power require strict adherence to document matching. Any discrepancy between your ID and your electricity bill will trigger a rejection.

Standard Document List

Document Requirements & Format
Electricity Bill Must be recent (under 3 months). Used to verify CA Number and Sanctioned Load.
Aadhaar & PAN Card Name must exactly match the name printed on the electricity bill.
Proof of Ownership Latest Property Tax receipt, Sale Deed, or Conveyance Deed.
Cancelled Cheque Must be in the applicant's name for direct DBT subsidy transfer.

Special Requirements for Delhi DDA/CGHS Flats

If you live in a DDA flat or a Cooperative Group Housing Society (CGHS):

  • Roof Rights: You must provide a formal No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the RWA or Society stating you have exclusive rights to the specific roof area.
  • Top Floor Residents: Even if you own the top floor, if the roof is considered common property under society bylaws, the NOC is strictly mandatory.
